Fire Spotter is an interactive wildfire spread simulator. Drop an ignition point on a 3D map and watch a fire grow across real terrain with a Rothermel rate-of-spread model: faster uphill and downwind, blocked by water, throwing embers that start spot-fires ahead of the front, with a smoke plume drifting downwind. Scrub the timeline, read the report, export CSV. Educational — not for operational firefighting.
On Mac, Windows, Linux or any computer: just click "Open Fire Spotter" above — it runs right in your browser, no install needed. To keep it like a desktop app, click the install icon (⊕) at the right of Chrome or Edge's address bar, or use Safari's File → "Add to Dock" on a Mac.
On iPhone or iPad: open it in Safari, tap the Share button, then "Add to Home Screen." It behaves like a native app — full-screen, offline-capable, launches from your home screen.
